that it was NAIDOC week?

I didn't see anything about it on commercial TV or news websites and wouldn't have even known about it if I hadn't been told by someone else.
I attended one local event which went well and heard the large Brisbane event was a great day for blacks and whites.
Perhaps if there had have been drunken fights, they may have got a little attention.

I just saw some of the awards on the ABC. A marvellous event for pride and progress - and, as you say, little coverage except from Aunty.

Schools were onto it, we got pamphlets in the mail from Centerlink.

our group got an invite, so we shared a stall with a disabilty group i'm with as well, great day it was..good music...impressive to meet a few of the elders..
