QUOTE
Australian cricket great Glenn McGrath has been bowled over by love once again, proposing to girlfriend Sara Leonardi.

Two years after the death of his wife Jane to breast cancer, News Ltd reports that McGrath, 40, is engaged to his 28-year-old Italian girlfriend of seven months.

His manager Warren Craig could not be immediately contacted but told News Ltd the two became engaged last week.

Ms Leonardi was photographed wearing a diamond ring as she walked alongside McGrath and his two children, James, 10, and Holly, 8, near their Woolooware home in Sydney on Saturday.

Jane McGrath fought a decade-long battle with breast cancer and after her death in June 2008, the former test fast bowler has devoted much of his time to her charity, the McGrath Foundation, raising money to combat the disease.

Some critics saying "It is too early"
"Jane wouldn't approve" "He should wait 5 more years"
I say leave him alone, let him have a life again.

No more to read, this is all in the article.

Good luck to him I've read about his wife and I don't think she'd mind at all..besides it's nobodies business except his and hers..he's had a hard time of it deserves a bit of happiness..the kids seem to like her.

People who were happily married tend to find a new partner sooner. And I don't think waiting two years is a huge rush into anything - I think he's waited, he's found someone, he's done all the right things, and he deserves some chance to be happy again. I wish him, and his family, well.

Besides, why does anyone else have a right to judge what he does?

I don't think anyone ever has the right to judge how long someone else should wait before they start another relationship.

Good luck to them. Hopefully, he's found a good partner and a good mother for the children. If they're all happy, it doesn't really matter. I think everyone knows just how much he loved Jane, anyway - and I'm sure she knew. She'd probably just be happy that the kids will grow up with a mother to take care of them, anyway. There's been a few instances where mothers who knew they were dying went to great pains to try and find the right kind of wife and mother for their man before they died, mainly for the children's sake.
